Examples of websites I've designed & built.

Lalime's Restaurant website redesign

These are screenshots of a responsive website I redesigned for my portfolio using Figma. I designed a more usable and elegant UX to match the brand by incorporating consistent design elements, hi-res photography, more whitespace, and fine, all-caps fonts. Also, better user engagement by enhancing the UI: Adding animated content overlays, buttons, and interactive dinner/drink menus.

            Woods website mockup

This is a design mockup of the Muir Woods website I did for a personal project using Figma. I aimed to create a better UX by designing a more visible and accessible UI (navigation, notifications, and alerts) as well as content design and visibility.

This is a website mockup I designed and built for a security trade show, ISC West. Working closely with the Marketing department, I used Photoshop for the design and the following for the build: Sass/SCSS, jQuery/JavaScript, a custom enterprise-version of EpiServer CMS, Sublime Text, and Dreamweaver.

BookCon website

These are screenshots of a responsive website I designed & built for BookCon, a pop-culture trade show. Working closely with the Marketing department, I used Photoshop for some design mockups and Zurb Foundation for in-browser prototypes. The following were used for the build: Sass/SCSS, a custom enterprise-version of EpiServer CMS, Zurb Foundation, jQuery/JavaScript, XML, Sublime Text, & Dreamweaver.

An internal guest-list page built using an XML-mapped spreadsheet linked from a Dreamweaver XSLT file using conditional Repeating Region XSLT objects due to our propriatry CMS limitations.

ISC West website

I designed the mobile menu icon to be fixed at the bottom of the screen for easier one-handed navigation access. This allowed the site features UI to be grouped at the top for more engagement.

Codepen Pens

Check out my Codepen profile for my latest code examples.

Lately I've been experimenting more with various CSS features that have more support than ever...including 3D CSS transforms and animations; responsive grid+flexbox layouts (not dependent on media queries); CSS variables and feature queries (@supports); and various Sass/SCSS features like conditional statements and loops.
